Description
The Smart Cities Initiative aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration for MIT community members interested in connections between urban and technological change. Whether you are working on a specific project or just generally interested, this forum should serve as a platform for building links across campus.
The first burning question is how to define "smart cities". Here's a starting point: Smart Cities use technology to enhance urban life and are changing the way we move, learn, consume, and interact. These technologies are social, location-aware, mobile, and reactive.
What do you think?
