Danny Codd is a doctoral candidate and a graduate research assistant in the Precision Engineering Research Group at MIT. Danny graduated from University of California, San Diego, and completed a MS in mechanical engineering from Stanford; he has worked at several product development firms throughout southern California and most recently was the Principal Engineer for KVA Stainless, a materials processing technology startup. He holds his CA Professional Engineer's License and is a named inventor on 6 issued US patents and several pending applications, ranging from medical devices to materials processing and renewable energy.
