Platform and Software Requirements

  • Windows Machine (OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8)
  • Google Chrome Web Browser (Version 26.0.0.0 and up)

Instructions for Accessing and Starting up Prototype

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Go to http://web.mit.edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/tristan7/Public/application/html/homePage.html

Shallow and Unimplemented Features

  • Logging in/out not yet implemented 
  • Home page/dashboard also unimplemented
  • "Find fabric stores near you" isn't actually doing anything with your location information to get yelp results actually near you; we are assume you are in Cambridge, MA
  • The glossary definitions that show up as dialog boxes should actually have instructional videos instead of a blank box.
  • Project search is only partially implemented-- the critera/filters are not fully correct.
  • Project search also does not contain actual projects-- only "Strawberry Cream Roll" is available as an actual project to look at
  • Lounge and all of its related functions are unimplemented
  • Sewing help is largely unpopulated; the only entry provided is the one for blanket stitch.
