BEC 5: THE LITHIUM-7 LAB
We are building a new lab for ultracold bosonic Lithium.
We are the newest lab in the Ketterle Group, which is part of the Center for Ultracold Atoms (CUA).
This is our MOT. You can see a ball of Li atoms fluorescing in red (670nm).
This is our machine. You can see the Zeeman Slower, the Main Chamber, the Optics Breadboards, and the Shim Coils.
We are currently looking for a new grad student to join out lab.
