Problem Statement: Dormitory desk workers need a way to manage dorm resident requests such as package registration, spare key/game/movie checkout, and guest lists. This is difficult using current systems because not all of the systems currently in use support guest lists or item checkout. Some of the systems currently in use require many unnecessary and confusing steps to register a package and then mark it as picked up.

User Classes:

  • independently hired desk workers
  • student desk workers
  • security guards

User Needs/Goals:

  • register packages easily
  • mark packages are picked up easily
  • check out games, movies, and spare room keys (or elevator keys)
  • check and update guest lists
  • No labels
