Scenarios
In the section, we follow the stories of Agnes and Felicity, Ferdinand and Olga, and Sylvester and Lancelot as they use our system.
Agnes and Felicity
Agnes is a 14 year-old girl who has stocked her wardrobe with over two hundred items. Because there are so many possible outfits, she spends several hours a day creating new outfits with her friend, Felicity. In fact, they would spend even more time if Felicity didn't have to go home for dinner at 5. With the PK3k system, Felicity and Agnes can spend time creating outfits even when Felicity has to go home. Here's what it looks like.
Agnes first uploads her wardrobe. While this sounds like it may be a daunting task, she simply pulls out her phone and begins snapping pictures of the items in her wardrobe. Using the the upload system in Design 1, she opens the mobile application and registers for a new account. Then, she is immediately taken to a screen that prompts for the type of the article of clothing. After tapping on the image representing the type of the article of clothing, a screen appears that shows what her camera shows, with the typical button for taking pictures showing. She taps the button and the picture is taken. She taps "Yes" in response to the prompt that asks if she wants to upload the picture. From there, she can either choose a new type of article of clothing, or can take another picture of an item that is the same type of article of clothing. After she's done, she can log on the website and her virtual wardrobe is populated with the pictures she's taken.
Once Agnes has uploaded her wardrobe, Felicity can go to the website and create outfits for Agnes.
Ferdinand and Olga
Ferdinand is a 23 year-old college student who
Sylvester and Lancelot
Sylvester is a 18 year-old high schooler who is preparing for his college interviews. He has a wardrobe with a pin stripe suit and a cream-colored suit, a red and blue necktie, and a white dress shirt. There are a small finite number of combinations, but Sylvester doesn't know which combination is the best for an interview with MIT.
