GR1 - Task analysis
User analysis
Our system is targeted toward the non-technical population with special emphasis on three user groups: students, businesspeople, and families.
Students:
Businesspeople:
Businesspeople have the unique need of blending their work lives with their personal lives. Even if one does not use a work calendar for personal appointments, often
a user will want to schedule personal goals, events, or notes that are separate from business activities and should not be shared.
A woman I spoke to who uses Microsoft Outlook's calendar for work complained that she was unable to click on a particular day and type a personal reminder to herself.
She would like to be able to add notes in her application's calendar, just like as would jot down a note to herself in her physical calendar. These notes should be separate
from the company calendar.
