5ESS SIP Gateway
Cisco has provided a second voice gateway that can run current software. This needs to be installed and connected to the 5ESS. The old gateway can be used as a backup for redundancy.
MIT.EDU SIP Server
This server is running ald software and the vendor (Pingtel) has now released the software as open source. We should upgrade to new software.
MIT.EDU SIP Directory Interface
This server uses a manual directory update from the Data Warehouse and the directory information is quite stale. We need a process for doing updates or a method for doing real time directory queries.
