Using plink.exe with TortoiseSVN for Windows

Configuring plink.exe for use with TortoiseSVN

Using plink.exe with TortoiseSVN will eliminate the TortoiseSVN irritating username/password prompts.

  1. Download plink.exe and place it in C:\

  2. Launch windows explorer, goto C:\ and right click on plink.exe.  Select TortoiseSVN->Settings.

    From the right hand panel, select Network and in the SSH client* field (bottom right panel) enter C:\plink.exe as shown below:



    #Click the OK button and you are done.
