What is the insideMIT Java Architecture Group?

The insideMIT Java Architecture Group (iJAG) is a community of IS&T developers who are the controlling body for Java architecture and standards pertaining to the Model and Controller layers of the MVC architecture used by IS&T's insideMIT Java applications.  The iJAG group further develops the architecture and standards as needed and conducts code reviews of insideMIT Java applications to ensure adherence to its standards.  Participation in iJAG follows an Open Source model; modifications to existing architecture and standards are discussed and decided upon by the group, and action items are assigned to volunteer members to address.
