July 22, 2008 Update
The physical collection has recently been transferred from MITRE to MIT. Digital pdfs were transferred earlier. Rob Wolfe has worked out a process to capture metadata for pdfs. Archives wants to create an exhibit page. It is unclear whether the collection will go into Dome or DSpace. This relates to a broader question about where to put material created by MIT labs, centers and departments that no longer exist. The consensus seemed to be that material that originated as the scholarly output of an MIT entity belongs in DSpace. Tom Rosko is working with the archivist at MITRE on publicity.
