  • Take care not to burn yourself, your work surface, or your components.

  • Use unleaded solder and wear safety glasses.

  • Wash your hands when finished.

  • Work surface should be clear of combustible materials

  • Avoid leaving soldering iron unattended while on.

  • Wipe down surfaces with damp cloth when done to remove accumulated fumes
