Overview

This nozzle was designed and built after the failure of the the 1G Z-Nozzle. It recessed the throat into a thicker portion of the nozzle to reduce stress in the nozzle. It was used during Characterization Static Fire #6. During manufacturing this nozzle was parted off the piece of stock which resulted in several chunks being removed by an impact with the chuck.
