Design 1

Design 1.pdf

Design 1 follows the basic notion of educating the user about the process, exposing the user about real tattoos, helping them find and store references, and helping them find a matching artist that suits their style. More explanation can be found in the sketches.

Design 2

Design 2.pdf

Design 2 is a more indirect but creative approach to the problem. The basic idea is that it is easier for a user who is clueless about what tattoo they want to get, to choose something they like the best when presented with a set of options. As the user makes choices, the options will become more and more specific, and the user's selections will eventually converge to a particular style or artist. Then the system will let the user know about the choices the user made and suggest artists to the user.

Design 3

Design 3.pdf

Design 3 is a stretch since it is designed for a mobile/small-screened interface, but the basic idea is similar to Design 2. The problem with having a smaller screen is that it is harder to present many different images to the user at the same time, so instead of presenting the user with many options, we only give the user one image at a time, and the user will have to decide whether the user likes the image or not.
