The Tech Squares President/VP are responsible for keeping the club running smoothly. If everyone else does their job well and , no issues come up, and the P/VP don't choose to pick up any projects, then being President is not a time-consuming job. However, if other officers need help or if issues arise, the President needs to be able to take care of things.

  • Run club elections
  • Run the appointment process for appointed officers
  • Welcome new officers & provide them with resources and administrative access they need
  • Keep Tech Squares on the good side of the ASA (send someone to GBM, submit membership and anti-hazing) and MIT offices
  • Schedule, announce, and chair officer and club meetings
  • Keep the club informed
  • Run the standing policy renewal process (make recommendations for any changes, run meetings)
  • Supervise other officers, and be a member of all committees
  • Lead the club through any difficulties that come up
