Various summer programs make use of computing resources here. Some of them explicitly request an orientation session from IS&T. Those are:

  • MITES (high school students)
  • Interphase (admitted frosh)

Other programs exist which have their own computing training:

  • RSI

Still other programs exist which I only found out about today:

We should make an effort to find out what programs exist, and what resources they require. For example, had I not found out about WTP, we would have changed Athena out from under them without knowing they were using it.
