Booster

Due to the booster being so large, and our mixing capabilities maxing out at around 25-30 lbs per batch, the propellant grain had to be split into 4 separate pieces that were stacked on top of each other inside the liner. They were separated by o-rings in between each piece. Booster pieces have a 5.25" outer diameter. The bates grains are the same but had to be separated due to the aforementioned reason.

  • 11" Aft Finocyl

  • 12" Middle Star:
    • Number of points: 5
    • Point length: 2.1"
    • Point base width: 1.6"
  • 18" Middle Bates:
    • Core diameter: 1.6"
  • 19" Forward Bates:
    • Core diameter: 1.6"

Sustainer

The sustainer is a single full grain. Sustainer grain has a 3.375" outer diameter.

  • 8" Aft Finocyl
    • Number of fins: 4
    • Fin width: .2"
    • Fin length: .8"
    • Core diameter: 1.1"
  • 9" Middle Bates:
