The table at the link above provides a "Value URI", "Label", and "Definition" for each vocabulary term.  Find the correct vocabulary term by reading the labels and definitions, but fill in this field with the information in the "Value URI' field.  For example, many of the Items in the MIT OA collection should be assigned the vocabulary term whose Label is "Journal Article," but the information that would be put into this field is the URI "http://purl.org/eprint/type/JournalArticle"

Use this element to assign the item a value from the Eprints EntityType Vocabulary.  See the following link for the list of appropriate values: Eprints EntityType VES; The Entity Type of a DSpace Item is essentially the kind of FRBR entity the item represents.  SWAP has an entity model similar to FRBR: Scholarly Work->Expression->Manifestation->Copy.  All items in the OA collection are Expressions.  The correct URI from Eprints EntityType VES should be templated into whatever form is used to capture metadata for these items.
