Software and Licensing at MIT
Come join us to learn about how software and licensing works at MIT.
Emma Levett (Manager of Software Asset Management, IS&T) and Tim Yager (Manager of Endpoint Management, IS&T) will talk about role of the Software Asset Management group and using Endpoints (Jamf/Casper and SCCM) to roll out new software an updates to your organization.
Oliver Thomas (Director of Community Partnerships, IS&T) will also give an update on the recent changes with Dropbox licensing on campus.
We'll also discuss ways to for IT Partners to provide input and collaborate with IS&T in these areas.
The presentation will start promptly at 11:30. Pizza lunch and networking will be after the presentation.
Along with having an in-person session with pizza lunch from Bertucci's, we will also be streaming the session via WebEx. Both options will allow you to ask questions during the Q&A time.
If you're coming to the in-person session, your MIT ID is REQUIRED to get into the building.
