Requirements:

1. Shall contain soft goods prior to separation
2. Shall withstand separation loads
3. Shall separate from the nose cone/staging cone

Material: Fiberglass coupler tube

Risks: Holes shear during separation (insert link to past issues)

Features:

• Radial holes (12 holes of size 6-32 placed 0.3 in. from top of tube) for interfacing with the diaphragm

Operations:

1. Cut coupler tube to length on the horizontal bandsaw
   
2. Sand faces to level
3. Cut a piece of supporting material to go inside the cup while machining it
4. Add holes with radial indexer (Note: 
5. Sand interior and exterior until slides smoothly into mission package tube
