Computer Prototype for SETENTS

Platform: Web.  Chrome only please.  Some testers using Macs might run into a bug where HTML5 video's audio does not work (http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=109441) - if you run into this issue, try Safari, although keep in mind that the site was built/tested for Chrome and may display differently or function incorrectly in Safari.

The following parts of our prototype are incomplete or canned:

1.  You can't open new folders you create.

2.  All existing notes lead to the same notes on Internationalization. 

3.  Since there is no backend, changes don't persist (i.e. changes to notes, new notes or folders are lost after navigating away from the page)

4.  The search box always returns the same results regardless of search term.

5.  In new notes, instead of recording real video we just play an existing video.  Pretend it corresponds to what you're seeing. 

6.  In existing notes, recording new video to append to existing video does nothing. 

7.  Inserting a snapshot from the video always inserts the same snapshot, not the current frame.  Cropping the inserted snapshot does not actually result in a crop. 

Collaboration Statement:

We utilize the open source jQuery RTE plugin (http://www.intrepidstudios.com/projects/jquery-rich-text-editor/documentation.aspx) to provide basic rich-test editing capability (along with significant modifications of our own to provide the video-sync highlights and better feedback).

We use Ben Alman's hashchange jQuery plugin (http://benalman.com/projects/jquery-hashchange-plugin/).

We also use jQuery (http://jquery.com/) and jQuery UI (http://jqueryui.com/).
