Filemaker Pro DB mapping notes
- d_Contributor table. Need to add a field that contains all components of an author's name. The info in this database, if robust, should be merged with our names database and used to feed an Authorities service for Agents.
- What is zzd_primaryOCWRole?
- zzd_audit_IsBestOf, zzd_audit_IsCI_H, zzd_audit_IsCI_HW - What's in these fields? Could they be relationship metadata with zzd_audit_IsDepartmentCore, zzd_audit_IsGIR
- zzd_batch. This is useful for us in organizing our work. Could we search or sort our metadata work by batch in the new CMS?
- What are zzd_courseNotes?
- More Info: zzd_courseNumber, zzd_courseNumberSuffix?
- What is d_Course zzd_publicationType?
- How do zzd_spanSemester and zzd_spanYear affect Semester or Publication Date?
- Do you think the zzd_spec elements in d_Course would be useful?
- How are zz_kb_updateCourseID and zzd_update used together?
- Do we need both zzd_semester and zzd_year to get something like "Fall 09"?
- zzd_zciInstructionalModel - How can we use this metadata? There are lots of Educational elements, would be good to have this in the metadata.
- Could we use the section contents fields from the d_Course table to populate Section descriptions. We would prefer to use the notes fields, if they do or can contain good information. We might be able to use the numbers fields.
- What does the primary / secondary contributor distinction mean in this field: zzd_primSec? What about zzd_roleOverride?
- We use Object metadata for flickr, but don't capture it in metadata tables in CMS. Should we?
- Is Resource location (zzd_location) a URL?
- Resource zzd_title or zzd_resourceName?
- What is zzd_contentArea from the Section table?
- What are zzd_sectionInstructions from the Sections table?
- What is zzd_fileLocations from the Sections table?
- I don't remember what fields these map to.
