Common Issues
While attempting to install software from the self-service application on a managed device, you are presented with an error message that says "This item is no longer available."
This might, unfortunately, require a full wipe and reset to properly fix. However, there are a few things you can try before going to such an extreme:
1. In System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, then scroll down and click on Profiles. Is there an "MDM Profile" listed with a yellow exclamation point? If you manually enrolled the Mac in Jamf, this needs to be manually approved.
2. In Terminal, try running "sudo profiles renew -type enrollment". If successful, you will be immediately prompted to enroll the Mac.
3. If neither of those methods works, you can try running "sudo jamf removeMdmProfile" (note that this is case-sensitive). If that works, try step 2 again, or enroll manually by loading https://mv-ezproxy-com.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/enroll in Safari.
