The Reporting and Forecasting Tool (RAFT) shows Institute Fiscal Officers what has been charged to their Cost Objects and forecasts changes to those charges based on changes in their base budget. We have deployed and are updating RAFT Phase III. The live application, is located at https://raft-prod-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/.

RAFT PIII (RAFT 3) August 16, 2013 Release Notes

A "bug fix and minor changes" release was moved into production on 08/16//2013.
Changes for this release include:

  1. Workset definition fixes
  2. Fixes for active/closed cost object searches
  3. Fixes for handling active/closed worksets
        ( Note: If you believe that a "My RAFT" workset or "Shared" workset' should be restricted by
          a status ('only active','only closed', etc.) please look at the workset definition or let us know )
  4. People shown in the "people paid on this cost object" table are limited by the current/chosen cost object date range

Upcoming changes we plan to make include:

  • Reduce two-day lag time to one day ( i.e. updated the same day as the data warehouse)
  • Improve existing performance issues
  • Add new reports and fix them where needed
  • Add fields to screens based on requests from pilot users
