GR1 - Task analysis
Bookmarks are locally stored and linked to the browser. They are accessed through a menu in the user’s browser and classified in different folders. Bookmarks are represented with lines of strings and small icons, which make them inefficient and uninformative.
Problem:
- users can’t access these bookmarks on other computers or other browsers
- users can’t navigate their bookmarks efficiently
- users can’t get enough information about the website content from the bookmarks
Solution we propose:* making a web application that allows the user store their bookmarks on the Internet.
- have the bookmarks be searchable and more easily clickable.
- have the bookmarks give a scent (maybe an image) of where the bookmark leads
MyWeb will help people with a lot of bookmarks to organize them, enable access to your favorite and important websites anytime anywhere and encourage more people to use bookmarks features by increasing usability of its interface.
