Customer requirements for a new domain:

First steps to configure your new domain
Default library

Domains are created with a library, which by default is named "Public".  You can rename this library by .... (click on library, info, edit title, etc. - walk through steps and confirm)

What would you like your public library to be named?
•    Default is "Public"

Metadata  

Metadata is extra information about an item, such as title, contributor, etc .  Metadata tells more about the image, as well as makes it easier to search for.  Thalia is preconfigured with some metadata markup, and allows you to add others.

There are some standardized sets of metadata. Librarians have devised Dublin Core  [link to good Dublin Core explanation -  Wikipedia? MIT libraries resource? ] Thalia
•    Default Dublin Core metadata fields are:
o    Title
o    Description
o    Contributor
o    Coverage
o    Creator
o    Date
o    Format
o    Identifier
o    Language
o    Publisher
o    Relation
o    Rights
o    Source
o    Subject
o    Type

Would you like to hide any of these fields from a guest user?

What would you like the hover tip to show (can be any data field)?
•    Default field for hover tip is "title"



You may wish to add your own custom set.  Academic disciplines have some standardized ones to describe their field of knowledge;  picking from a menu makes them more consistant.  

Do you want to limit input for any of these fields?
•    You can have a drop box with a choice of values for the user to enter

What size/shape would you like these fields to be? [??]



Uploading  

Would you like the upload pane to clear all data between uploads or not?
•    Default is "don't clear"
