This resource is operated and maintained by the Educational Technology Consultant's Group, which is part of Academic Computing, which is part of Content and Collaboration Group, Information Services and Technology at MIT.
You are currently connected to a development server. A production server is on order. We hope to have it installed and ready to go by early April.
How's it Work?
The wiki uses Confluence, a popular enterprise wiki application developed by Atlassian Software.
We are currently (spring 2009) running Confluence version 2.7.3
Confluence is segmented into wiki 'Spaces'. A space can be either world readable or made accessible only restricted, with varying permission levels, to members of a given group (or set of groups). You are currently in the 'Welcome to the Confluence Wiki', or 'TOP' space. This space is world-readable, but it can be commented upon by anyone with a Confluence account. To get to any of the wiki's private spaces requires eitherEach space has an administrator or administrative group associated with it.
Members of the admin group can control some elements of the look and feel of the space and can manage the users and user group(s) associated with that space.
For a member of the MIT Community, access to a restricted wiki space requires:

or - to have been granted individual access to the space
All users should You must also have cookies and javascript enabled in your browser settings.
