| Starting 30 November 2010 OECD iLibrary began offering MARC records to all subscribers. "Based on user input MARC records are provided in MARC21 XML format according to U.S. Library of Congress* specifications." Records are offered in two files: All Books (including latest update); Latest Books Update only (incremental).
To download files, click on Institution Name in upper right to get to Login page (or click Logout, then Login). Enter Administrator username and password (found in Staff Vera). Click on My Account Details Link. Click on MARC records link. Move cursor over XML icon and right click "Save Link as ..." and save to computer.
To open and edit files, use MarcEdit Tools to convert to .mrc file (Function: MARC21XML=>MARC) , then open and save as .mrk file.
These are not OCLC records; get monthly updates, extract information and use Z39.50/MarcEdit to find in OCLC and catalog into Barton.
We now have a new way for selectors and other interested parties to find out the cataloging status of our various ebook packages and series. You can now log in to the FileMaker Pro version of staff Vera to get both summary information for all packages and series, and detailed information as you need it. This access will replace the LibGuides summary page and the Wiki detailed pages, and brings all ebook information into a single system.
