In 2009, a volunteer group under the auspices of MIT's Women League began a pilot program, working with several service staff for whom English is a second language. John DiFava has sponsored the program. In general, the 12 week segments include a 1 hour classroom session, and a 1 hour 1-1 tutoring session. The 4th session is due to commence in May 2010.
