Q: We are going to upgrade our Old SRT to the New SRT this fall and are ordering/planning this summer. I'm thinking of buying the 3 or 4.5m mesh dish from RF Ham Designs, since the wind load is still acceptable for our roof top mount. Is there any reason why this is a bad idea? Thanks. This filter was selected because the only with 7 MHz one available from minicircuits. The mismatch 75 to 50 ohms has little effect. However I suggest using the TV dongle receiver which is much simpler and lower cost. |
