Payload bulkhead alone mounts into piston
Overtightening the screws on the payload avionics bulkhead actually breaks the seal within the piston. When compression is applied, the structural support rods on the piston begin working in the opposite direction, causing the seal to break and invalidating the piston.
This could be an issue in a vacuum due to nonsealing of piston.
Short side of the piston thread goes into the bottom side of the piston.
