The MTL User & Machine Management System (MUMMS) is a Web based application for the managing of a lab's users and, in some cases, computers. MUMMS can be used for many purposes, including:
- Update information related to users and, in some cases, computers (name, email address, settings, etc.)
- Add or remove services for users
- View and update the status of prerequisites for those services (EHS training, signoff from staff, etc.)
- Assign charges for those services to specific supervisors and cost objects
MUMMS Roles
There are a number of different roles that users can have when they access MUMMS, and this affects the functionality they can use. Here are a few roles and some of the operations they can perform.

MTL Cost Recovery and MIT SAP | MUMMS provides information to the Cost Recovery system which generates charges for lab services. These charges are then uploaded to MIT SAP. |
