  • Go to the EHS training website

  • Follow the instructions to set up your training profile.

- Select "I need to complete the Training Needs Assessment" and submit

- Check your info (name, MIT ID) and click continue

- Check that Roman is set as PI, otherwise you should select him in the list and update


In Section 2 select the following activities (they should be highlighted)

  • Once your profile is complete you can click on the My Training tab and you should have a list of

  • required training's.
  • For Signature: Read Dept. Chem. Hygiene Plan see section 1. Lab Specific Chemical Hygiene Training will be addressed in Section 3. For all other trainings follow the instructions below.
  • Under the How can I complete this training? column click on View

  • For Web-based training (General Chemical Hygiene & Managing Hazardous Waste): click on the link to start the training.
  • For classroom based courses (General Biosafety): click on the link and it will show you the schedule. Click Book Session to select the class you want to attend.
  • If you click the arrow, on the left, it will expand and show you more information including the time of the class.

  • This training needs to be renewed every year. There is a group training offered at the beginning of the school year in September.
  • If you arrive after September you will need to schedule your training with the EHS Rep.
