- Please DO NOT upgrade to Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks. IS&T is still working hard to get all MIT applications working correctly in the new OS.
At this time Mac OS 10.7 and 10.8 are the 2 recommended Mac OS versions. - iOS 7 for iPhone and iPad is now safe for upgrading. The safest way to apply this update is to connect your iPhone or iPad directly to iTunes on your main computer.
- Windows XP is being discontinued. Anyone who is still using Windows XP on a PC should either upgrade to Windows 7 or retire the old hardware Windows XP is running on.
If you have any question which route to take, please contact us for a consultation. - For those areas on a 4 year hardware renewal schedule and not the usual 3 year, please be aware that you must purchase a mid to high end model to ensure it can still run
software at a reasonable performance level that far down the line.
