The Small Show Coordinator ensures that a small show happens once over IAP and once in the spring Spring after the mainstage show has been wrapped. More can be organized at the discretion of the current Ensemble, but the SSC would need to organize those as well.

1. Choose an appropriate date (not too many conflicts) with the input of the rest of the Ensemble.

2. Find a desirable space for the performances (Little Kresge, 66-110, and Killian Hall have been used in the near past, 1-390 is a decent space too, 4-270 and 4-370 are very popular).

3. Reserve the performance space for 6-11pm on the nights of performances and at least two nights beforehand. If possible get the space for a half-day or day sometime in the week immediately prior to the first performance so that scenes can rehearse in the space in half hour or hour blocks.

4. Send a questionnaire to the Ensemble to find out who will be participating and in what way (acting, directing, both), what they hope to get out of scene night, what scene or sort of scene they would like to work on (and why), what character or sort of character they would like to play (and why), who they would like to work with, who they would not like to work with, etc.
