• Identify the best vendors for recommended hardware
• Determine recommended models and specific configuration(s) where appropriate
• Team with Procurement to obtain the best value from our vendors
Purchasing
• Provide purchasing advice
• Work with Procurement to provide secure, online purchasing options
• Provide on-campus purchasing option DLCs through Departmental Services (DDM)
• Enable DLCs to work with vendors directly for unique needs
Repair
• Facilitate the service of recommended and supported hardware
• Provide warranty and out-of-warranty service for recommended vendors
• Offer data recovery and other appropriate software services
