IPIDPAT is an informal gathering of people interested in International Development and Appropriate Technology. We normally meet at my Dad's house in Indian Point, Maine to share ideas and resources and hatch plans for projects, programs and papers. But this year, we are going to Spain, so that we can visit the 2008 World's Fair (aka Expo 2008) that is focussing on Water and Sustainable Development. IPIDAT 2008 2009 will take place June 9 - 13, starting on Monday Tuesday afternoon/evening , and will take place at the Jardins Segria In Lleida, Spain, which lies about halfway between Barcelona and Zaragozacontinuing through the weekend. We will have a mixture of brainstorming sessions, technology slams, problem-solving sessions, presentations and workshops.
