Description: MIT EmailExchange IMAP (this can be whatever you'd like, it describes the mail account)

In the new screen, make sure IMAP is in blue.

Under Incoming Mail Server:

Host Name: usernameimap.mailexchange.mit.edu
User Name: username
Password: yourpassword

Under Outgoing Mail Server:

Host Name: outgoing.mit.edu
User Name: username
Password: yourpassword

Select Save

You may receive a "Secure Connection Failed" prompt, if so click Continue. This is a standard certificate prompt, the connection will still be encrypted via SSL.

Once the iPhone has communicated with the Mail server to verify your settings, you are done. To access your mail, go back to the Home screen and select the Mail icon.
