Users considering purchasing new mobile devices is advised to seek alternate devices such as Windows Mobile devices.

Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC (Treo 700w, Treo 700wx, Treo 750, VZW XV 6700, Sprint PPC 6700, etc.): In February 2007, Microsoft release Windows Mobile 6 Professional (which will replace Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC). Some of the older devices may be upgradable to Windows Mobile 6 Professional via the carrier.
