We discussed a need for an instructional vision, or plan. We also discussed problems with "First Year Orientation" . In particular that there is not enough, and what we have is not well coordinated; specifically for new faculty and researchersand if there were other ways to become more involved with new faculty.
The Vision Itself:
We looked at the wording of the reference vision, line by line, and agreed on a number of small revisions designed to improve clarity. Lisa H. will update the text accordingly. Next meeting we will look at benchmarks for the revised vision, and make recommendations for an action plan to be delivered to PSLG.
