If you encounter materials that you believe should be deaccessioned, complete this the deaccession request form: https://airtable.com/shrK7B6CCJi4rr0XV. You won't get a confirmation email after completing the form, but if you'd like to confirm that your submission went through or see the status of your request, you can look at the the grid view under view under the Deaccession tab of the Donation Offers base in Airtable. The collections team will be notified whenever someone completes the form, and they'll be in touch with you once they've made a decision.

- Procedures for returning materials to donors or sending to other institutions are forthcoming . If the collections team determines that the materials should be destroyed, dispose of the materials in the Shred-It bin. Contact the Archival Processing Manager if the deaccessioned materials are too large to fit in the bin. (link out to Google doc)
