I've written up the steps that I took to configure my device to read MIT email. I did this after activating the device. However, when I went to set up my BIS account via the Verizon site (https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw), I was unable to create an account. First I was told that my device was registered under a different service provider. Most recently, I'm informed that I can't access the BIS through the web. We're working on this. So I ended up configuring email on the device. Here was my experience:
