Fractions (uses week 9, should be late)
Some calls can be fractionalized. For example, 1/2 swing thru would be just a arm turn 1/2 by the right because swing thru has two parts - 1) right arm turn 1/2 and 2) left arm turn 1/2. Or, on 1/2 trade, there aren't parts, so you just go halfway through the movement and halfway through the turning - from a mini-wave, this means 1/2 trade is the same as hinge.
What would you do on the following?
- 1/2 zoom (from columns)
- 1/2 partner trade (from lines facing out)
- 1/2 scootback (from waves)
- 1/2 split circulate (from waves) (what formation does this end in?)
- 1/2 roll away (from facing lines)
- 3/4 swing thru (from right hand waves)
- 3/4 spin chain thru (from waves)
- 3/4 load the boat (from facing lines)
- 2/3 pass the ocean (from facing lines) (remember the technical definition of pass the ocean has 3 parts.)
Do you have any ideas for more?
