Dear Jessica,
Thank you for the progress.
We finished 23 ambulances for WHO and delivered them on monday this
week. They had ordered together with bicycles. They actually bought for the
Ministry of health.
We made two to Celdric farms in western province.
Today we are also delivering one ambulance to one of the clinics in within
Lusaka.
Next week monday we start the order for the minstry of health who also
ordered 36 bicycle ambulances, 9 Tricycles, 36 wheelchairs,72 metal crutches and
72 wooded crutches.
We are using the fixtures and they are helping speed up the work.
Problem: What I noticed from from the delivered ambulances was that the
mudguards were not uniform. As a result one strecther could not fit all
frames. I think we need to make some sheet cutting templates and bending
jig for the mudguard tube bender.
On some strecthers the sheet which holds the mattress was too curved. As a
result in some cases it comes in contact with the main frame instead
of the frame of the stretcher.
Am sure the loan will help us buy more materials so that we will be able to
supply even to those who pay only after delivery
Have a look at these photos
By for now,
